REFERENCE NO: AHC/1998/4/4.2

TITLE: AUTHENTICATION ISSUES

INTRODUCTION

This protocol is to describe the procedures for dealing with the complaints that have followed the initial procedure AHC/1998/4/4.1 and still require further investigation.

PROCEDURE

  1. Complaints are initially dealt with AHC/1998/4/4.1, and if further authentication is required, Master and distribution banks are then to be tested in the appropriate manner:

    2. ISOENZYME AHC/1998/3/3.1/2.2

    ANTIBODY AHC/1998/3/3.5/2

    MYCOPLASMA AHC/1998/3/3.2/2

    DNA Fingerprint AHC/1998/3/3.1/2.3

  2. Results discussed at regular authentication meeting action agreed. i.e. Depositor contacted, redeposit and deletion from catalogue.
  3. Customer informed of results and course of action.
  4. If this problem involves recalling product see AHC/1998/4/4.3
