TITLE: DISTRIBUTION OF CELL LINES
- Cell cultures are distributed either frozen in plastic ampoules on dry ice ("frozen culture") or as growing cell populations in flasks or tubes ("growing culture").
- Shipments are sent early in the week (usually on Mondays and Tuesdays) to ensure arrival before the following weekend.
- Due to the elaborate handling, the price for growing cultures is higher than for frozen cultures.
- We suggest ordering frozen cultures which are usually sent out 4-10 days after receipt of the complete order. However, for certain destinations outside Europe we must ship cells exclusively as growing cultures.
